Our day trip Marrakech to Ouzoud Waterfalls starts at 8 a.m. We pass a few Berber villages to reach the waterfalls. Ouzoud waterfalls are considered the highest and most beautiful in Morocco. The waterfalls are located in the small town of Tanaghmeilt in the High Atlas mountain ragne. In the afternoon at 3 p.m., we return back to Marrakech to your hotel.

The waterfalls are the most visited site of the region. In the vicinity, green valleys, mills, orchards and a superb circuit of the gorges of the El Abid River (“Slaves River”) are found. Many local and national associations lead projects to protect and preserve the site.

The Stunning Waterfalls

Barbary Monkeys

The area is home to Barbary macaques, a species of monkey that roams freely. They are friendly but might try to grab food from visitors!

Hiking Trails

There are multiple hiking paths around the falls. You can walk down to the base or hike up for panoramic views of the surrounding valley.
